Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16, under the direction of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. While a student, and as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choruses. After moving from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for many projects in the community because of her love and passion for music. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
