MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In Medellin, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. The album reached the top of the charts at number 8 on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. He collaborated alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He next year, released his sophomore album the chart-topping Dopamina. Then in 2021 he sang an duet with the TINI streaming hit single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a family of musicians both his parents have been musicians. In interviews, he referred to the importance of music as a requirement. When he was a kid, he began learning to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. Although he initially wanted to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his career.
